Until we meet again!

Took me long enough to do, but put the trailer away today.

I held off, as putting it away is admitting summer is done.

Only got out a few times this summer. No where near as many as past year, but that's how it goes if you're super busy with other stuff!

In a few days it'll be configured for winter camp outs. Until next spring....

Everyone loves a parade!

Had some appointments to attend to this week, so we didn't get away to camp proper.

But it's the Big Ex this week, so we took the kids (-Capt Party Pooper) to the parade.

Jiesheng loved it! His first street parade.

Unfortunately didn't get to take many pics as I was to enthralled in watching his amazement at it all.

James, please make note of the robotic lawn mower.

Home again. Bye bye Yogi!

Left at noon. Easy drive back.

Park is insanely dead this year. I guess being the most expensive place around, kinda puts a dent in attendance.

Weather looks not too bad, eh? Same not still there.

The slumber party

So, the gang figures they'll have a sleet party on the pull out sofa and watch tv. Seems fairly benign. But at 2300, when they are still up and arguing, time to pull the plug!!

Funny, it's now 0900. I wonder why they are still sleeping????

Allows me the 0730 get up, get coffee (times 2 this morning, thank you!), play radio, etc. :)

Sun just coming up through fog. Great day to head home. Aargh!

Can ya beat BBQ for supper??

BBQ burger for supper. Just beef, nothing else. No additives, potions, elixirs, spices. :)

Drop a couple in ya. Just what the doctor ordered! :)

Bounce pillows and haircuts

We got the bounce pillow bounced out. After lunch, we headed to Greenwood Mall. Just some aimless wandering about. But one of us needed a haircut. So, snip snip. :)

Who steals another man's laundry basket??

So....

After everyone wakes up and I establish the laundry needs for the day, I went to the park laundromat and started a load. I left the laundry basket on the counter in the room. Safe, eh? You'd think.

Not so much.

I go back to move the load from the washer to dryer and sure enough, no basket.

Who steals a laundry basket from a counter in a small family park???

Yogi Bear morning

Came up yesterday after I got up from post night shift nap and set up. A few groceries at Superstore and all set.

Stir fry and rice for dinner.

Rough night getting JS to sleep!

I was up at 730, in time for net. Kade and JS up at about 915 to start the day. I think I hear nick inside prowling, but no signs of a head popping out yet

Grey day here. Let's see if it brightens up a bit.

Cars early morning!

Woke up at 0700. Up for a bit by my lonesome. Cup of coffee in and feed the doggies.

Checked in with the 2m Wake Up net.

Kade appeared to inform me that her and Jiesheng were awake. Playing cars on the mat is the early morning order of business while the others sleep!

Sleepy heads

I'm up at 0730. The gang remains asleep! Quite the miracle as normally everyone is up early.

Speaking of miracles, the Chairman actually slept with someone other than us! I guess the cousin on the sofa watching Special Agent Oso was much more entertaining than Mom and Dad watching TMZ before bed!

Not sure what's on the go today. Kicking back. Loving life. :)

Monday morning departure to Yogi.

They're back on the Passport America plan again. Yes, I'm that cheap. But when a campground is 56 a night, a fella needs a discount!

Settled in, got groceries, and RELAXED! Kids ran off ondo a few kid things. Jiesheng playing cards on the mat. Dogs laid out. Alicia reading Kindle. Me blogging. Haha. GEEK.

Oh yes. Speaking of geek. Full Internet!!

Rissers Canada Day

Headed to Rissers Beach after night shifts. Landed about 3 pm.

Jenna and Craig right along behind us. We had spot on the beach, they were across the road.

James and Lisa, Paige and Avery joined us for a few hours on Sunday, Canada Day.

All we did was sit on the beach, eat lots, campfires. That Craig likes his fires.

Jenna and Craig took off Monday at noon. We hung out until 9 AM Tuesday.

Home and unloaded.

June weekend at Falls Lake Resort

Four day weekend at Falls Lake. Haven't been there since 2010. It was time to head back.

We got there around 3pm. Set up. A little cooler than I'd like, but manageable.

Noon on Friday, the clan Jenkins showed up. Fire at our place on Friday, theirs on Saturday.

Quick pick up on Sunday morning and we start the trek home.

Back to the grind tomorrow!

First trip of 2012

It's becoming tradition. First weekend of the year is Victoria Day long weekend. Back to Risser's Beach.

This year we went there with the Jenkins clan. We could only go for the Friday night due to one of us work all frigging weekend. Maybe a little more seniority, next year, and I'll get it off.
